Introductie
Werkzaam op de volgende terreinen: vrij verkeer van werknemers en sociale zekerheid in Europa, de werknemersparticipatie en het ondernemingsbestuur, veranderende arbeidsrelaties en de Europese arbeidsmarkt. Vanuit AIAS verzorgt hij de coördinatie van de werkzaamheden van een Europees netwerk, waaronder de hoofdredactie van het kwartaaltijdschrift CLR-News (ISSN 1997-1745), zie ook www.clr-news.org. Tevens maakt hij deel uit van de Europese SEEurope projectgroep die onderzoek verzorgd naar de Europese Vennootschap, www.worker-participation.eu/European-Company
Het volgende staat op zijn planning:
• onderzoek naar de nog bestaande knelpunten in de Europese regelgeving aangaande het vrij verkeer van werknemers en de vrije dienstverlening,
• onderzoek naar een mogelijk ‘inclusievere’ opstelling van arbeidsmarktorganisaties naar werkenden in precaire arbeidsrelaties en de rol die collectieve onderhandelingen daarbij kunnen spelen,
• de leiding van de adviesraad bij een internationaal onderzoeksproject van Solidar, gefinancierd door DG Employment, getiteld ‘Making Industrial Relations Work for Decent Work’, zie www.solidar.org
• het monitoren van de gevolgen voor de arbeidsverhoudingen van de invoering van de interne markt en de uitbreiding van de EU.
