More details are available under the heading of DEMPATEM at this website

3) Epicurus
It is the acronym of the European research project on Societal and economic effects on quality of life and well-being: preference identification and priority setting in response to changes in labour market status, co-ordinated by LoWER partner Ioannis Theodossiou at the University of Aberdeen. It is supported by the Fifth Framework Programme and involves – besides others – the AIAS as the Dutch partner and ETLA, LoWER’s partner in Finland.

At the AIAS Ada Ferrer performed the research as a post-doc researcher with the support of professor Bernard van Praag, Ada’s former thesis supervisor and a high-level expert on well-being research. Together they published Happiness Quantified at Oxford University Press. Wiemer Salverda acted as the local co-ordinator.

More information can be found at the project website.
